ARI N. BRONSTEIN

Ari Bronstein has 8 years of experience in the wind industry, having worked at different times as a consultant with Garrad Hassan, developer with DONG Energy and Element Power, and student researcher with Risø National Laboratories. Mr. Bronstein has conducted thorough site evaluation and optimization for projects in all types of terrain, including offshore, and in several countries.  Altogether, he has assessed projects totaling more than 3000 MW proposed installed capacity.

Mr. Bronstein has also been responsible for planning, overseeing and maintaining measurement campaigns for dozens of prospective wind farms.  Having overseen more than 100 unique measurement locations, he has experience working with met towers and measurement platforms of many heights and configurations, as well as remote sensing units (SODAR & LIDAR).

Mr. Bronstein has unique mathematical and problem solving skills. He has been utilized as an expert witness in the area of statistics in US federal court.  He has written advanced programs to meet special needs of individual projects, including simulating the offshore installation of wind turbines and estimating losses due to unusual types of curtailment.

ERIC T. HARLEY

PhD, Applied Mathematics, Johns Hopkins University
BS, Mathematics, Harvey Mudd College

Eric Harley is a specialist in the area of mathematical modeling.  His PhD studies cover areas of classical statistics, linear optimization, combinatorial analysis, stochastic processes, and graph theory.

Mr. Harley has worked with the Department of Defense Institute for Defense Analysis, where he held TOPSECRET clearance.  He has also won the SIAM and INFORMS academic awards in mathematical modeling.

Mr. Harley is highly technically astute in all areas of applied math and programming, and is capable of finding practical solutions to a broad variety of technical and numerical problems.
